      You must submit a special permit application at least seven days before the date you require it (ie. your event or function date). 

      If an application is submitted with less than seven days’ notice, it may not be assessed or granted in time.​​

      This permit is only valid for an event not exceeding three consecutive days.

      This application must be completed by the proposed permit holder.

       

      Required Information 

      In considering an application, the Commissioner must make a decision which, in his or her opinion, is in the best interests of the community.

      All applications are required to provide:

      • Approval to sell liquor from the venue owner/Council

      You will also need to provide the following information to support an application where the Commissioner determines that it is required to consider the application. Typically, this applies to larger events:

      • Alcohol management plan
      • Event management plan
      • Site plan that outlines the liquor sales points and consumption areas

       

      Electronic documents or photos lodged must be in .pdf, .doc, .docx, .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif file formats.

      Please note:  Applications that are incomplete cannot be saved or retrieved.  Please ensure you have all the required information before commencing your application.

  • Event dates and times for the sale of liquor - Please note that times are by a 24 hour clock (e.g.  4pm is equivalent to 16:00).

    This application elates to an event that is being held for a period not exceeding 3 consecutive days. Where an event is held eg sports game followed by a social function this would be deemed to be 2 events. Therefore 2 applications must be lodged.
